Poll Results: CLANNAD Girls

The CLANNAD girls are back, and this time they are back funnier and lovelier than before!
The ideal way to start a new CLANNAD season would be to ask those supporters/fanboys of which girl character they really like. I mean, everyone who loves anime from harem backgrounds (Da Capo, Shuffle!, Kanon, Air, H2O ~Footprints in the Sand~ etc) would definitely have a character they would adore very much. During the release of the first season of CLANNAD, we are exposed to a variety of characters with different backgrounds and different characteristics. Typical KyoAni who takes the harem background and, instead of showcasing the main character’s route, shows us every character’s development. And they didn’t disappoint me one bit.
So, instead of me rambling about what happened in the series, I let you guys vote on your favourite CLANNAD girls. Here are the tallied results:

Loading ...Surprisingly, I thought Kotomi was gonna run away with the top prize. Apparently, she was tied for first with our appreciated idol, Tomoyo! Congrats to the both!
Some readers love the tsundere character of Kyou, but I wish her development was more in the series. I think I have yet to witness more from her, and I hope for more in ~After Story~.
There was some dispute as to why many don’t like Nagisa in the series, or that she is not a suitable partner for Tomoya. I think it’s safe to say that the readers here don’t prefer her character much. Personally, I never liked her character. Yes, what happened to her later on normally affects my judgment on her, but being a main character as she is, she just seems a little…bland. Nothing special; maybe not yet, but not what I’ve seen in the first season.
So, as promised, here are some desktop goodies for you to display and show your love for CLANNAD. Or maybe you just want to keep in your collection. I have to say I don’t really know what should be so special with Nagisa? Kotomi needs much more lovu…

@ hikky and soonkiong: More Kotomi lovers! But yeah, I agree with you that she fits the bill for most people; good looks, smart and moe~ Hikky, glad that you liked the garden wallpaper, that is my current wall at the moment too! >.<
